"The McCabe Cup for sports awarded by Mrs. McCabe was presented to The Cuala GAA Sports, received by Brendan Spillane who spoke with great enthusiasm about the Cuala Club. Some seven hundred young people are involved, together with their parents who take an active interest. A great testimony to the work of these dedicated sports people."
